The Supreme Court also said that Manish Sisodia cannot be kept in jail indefinitely, Justice Gavai raised the point that the trial did not start during the 18-month imprisonment and the appellant has been deprived of the right to a speedy trial, the court has also said that keeping him in jail for a long time without any hearing is a violation of fundamental rights of Mr. Sisodia.

Pointing at the lower court, the court has said that bail is a fundamental right of every person which is given under a rule, so stopping or disrupting it deprives the values of human rights.
