Khaleda Zia Update: According to the report of Daily Star, it has been revealed that the main organizers of a movement going on in Bangladesh have proposed Nobel Prize winner Dr. Mohammad Yunus to become the chief advisor of the interim government.

Nahid Islam, a prominent person of the movement, has told that he had already talked to the Professor Unit and he had also accepted this proposal after seeing the situation of the country. Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina reached Delhi after resigning and leaving the country.

A few hours later, the President of Bangladesh has announced that the Parliament formed after the elections in January 2024 will be dissolved and in the meantime Narendra Modi has called for a security meeting on the situation in Bangladesh. Sheikh Hasina is currently in a safe place in Ghaziabad, which has been made safe by India.

After the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has today demanded the President to form a final government and has also said that the Parliament should be dissolved and a new Parliament should be reconstituted.

BNP has also said that when they are called by the President, they will propose the name of the next Prime Minister. The party has also appealed to stop violence in the protest activities and has requested the acting President of the party, Tarak Rahman, to return to Bangladesh.

The term of the interim government will be 3 months, during which elections will be held and all political cases will be withdrawn. Congress MP Manish Tiwari in India has expressed concern over the situation in Bangladesh and asked that India has taken many steps for the stability of South Asia.

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said that the condition of Indians present in Bangladesh is not so serious that they have to be airlifted. Sheikh Hasina’s future plans have not been clarified yet. Right now she is staying safely under the shelter of India because the situation in Bangladesh is not such that Hasina should be sent back.
