Lakshmi Narayan 14th August 2024 Written Update: The 14th August 2024 episode of the show “Laxmi Narayan” was full of interesting and emotional twists. At the beginning of the episode, the evil king Hiranyakashyap announced in the assembly that he would sacrifice his own son Prahlad to show his followers that he is the real God. After his announcement, his followers, like Sukhacharya, praised him, but Prahlad remained firm in his faith and kept chanting Narayana. Prahlad’s mother Kayadu was worried and started praying to Lord Narayana to protect her son, as Prahlad had assured her that Narayana would save him.
Hiranyakashyap’s sister Holika tried to make Prahlad give up his devotion to Narayana and obey his brother, but Prahlad rejected her words. Kayadu prayed to Narayana, admitting that even though he never worshipped Narayana before, her son has full faith in him and now he is her last hope.
Lakshmi urged Narayana to intervene in this crisis, but Narayana pointed out that Holika had a boon given to her by Brahma, which made her untouched by fire. Narayana said that he could not do anything against Holika because her boon would protect her from fire. Lakshmi pleaded with Narayana to protect Prahlad, but Narayana said that under the rules he could not directly intervene.
Lakshmi did not listen to Narayana and decided to save Prahlad herself. Brahma and Saraswati tried to convince Lakshmi, but she remained adamant. She reminded Narayana that she had been taking care of Prahlad since his birth and she could not leave him alone this time too. Narayana, seeing Lakshmi’s determination, challenged her: she cannot go to save Prahlad until she defeats him in a fight.
Lakshmi accepted the challenge and the fight began, causing a commotion throughout the universe. Meanwhile, Hiranyakashyap proudly said that now no one can save Prahlad. But as soon as the fire started, Holika’s dupatta, which was supposed to protect her from the fire, flew away in the air. Holika’s body started burning while Prahlad remained unharmed. Eventually Holika was reduced to ashes in the fire.
While Laxmi and Narayana’s fight continued, Narada came and told that Narayana had already predicted this incident. This was all a part of Narayana’s plan to protect Prahlad. Laxmi apologized to Narayana that she misunderstood his intentions.
Brahma warned Hiranyakashyap that misusing the boon for sinful purposes would lead to his downfall. Kayadu was happy to see her son’s safety while Hiranyakashyap was still trying to make Prahlad fight with Narayana.
The episode brilliantly showcased the struggle between faith and power, devotion and tyranny and left the audience eagerly waiting for the next episode.
