18 people have died in the plane crash at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, Nepal. Only one person was found alive and that was the pilot of the plane who was immediately taken from there and admitted to the nearby Kathmandu hospital. Doctors said that the pilot is not in serious danger. He has only suffered an injury to his eye due to which he is unconscious.

Security officials of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu said that this plane operated by local aviation company Saurya Airlines was going to Pokhara city with 17 technicians for maintenance check, but this accident happened due to some technical fault.

On Wednesday, 24th July, this plane operated by local airline Saurya Airlines was being taken to Pokhara but when it was about to raise its wheels to take off, its wheels started slipping due to which it overturned and crashed and caught fire. The staff present there immediately extinguished the fire.
